My Approach

Collaborative

Therapy is a collaborative process, and my role is to provide a supportive space where we can explore your goals together. I serve as a sounding board to help you navigate challenges while introducing tools and strategies tailored to your needs.

Our first session focuses on getting to know you—your experiences, what brought you here, and where you’d like to go. We will set goals and outline a plan for our work together.

I also believe that therapy should feel comfortable and authentic, which is why I incorporate humor and flexibility into sessions. Finding the right therapist is essential, and your input matters. If something hasn’t worked for you in the past, you have the autonomy to adjust your care and shape the therapeutic process in a way that best supports you

Life Long Learning

I am dedicated to ongoing education, with a special focus on topics such as perfectionism, anxiety, self-compassion, trauma, and executive dysfunction. In addition to required continuing education, I actively seek out specialized training and resources to enhance my practice.

As an avid reader, I enjoy integrating literature into the therapeutic process and am happy to share book recommendations tailored to your journey. For those interested, I also offer a relevant-to-you book club, providing opportunities for deeper exploration and learning beyond our sessions.
